Hope Sherwood journeys home for the reading of her father's will. It's been over twelve years since she set foot in Horse Cave, Kentucky, and she left her hometown for good reasons.

Sparks fly when Hope discovers artist Skye Carson,  her high school sweetheart, renting the old caretaker's cabin on her property. Hope's intentions to return to Chicago fade but her fears remain. Writing her indie novels and renovating the family farmhouse into a bed and breakfast becomes complicated by two men who claim to have fathered her daughter, and a besotted country superstar penning love ballads especially for her, his BLUEGRASS BABY.

Hope struggles to trust Skye with her heart again amid misunderstandings and betrayals. While organizing a wedding for picky guests at The Raven & Rose Inn, the bride and groom go missing. Hope can't weather any more drama and her second chance romance may be ruined before it even begins.
