Cool, right! I mean who wouldn't want to be associated with royalty and Versailles?

Only I'm not good at tracing our roots. I tried and failed. I thought the Morange name would be an easy search. Turns out Morange in Paris is like Smith in America.

So for my birthday this year, I'm shipping off my DNA sample to Ancestry.com to be tested, which is rather exciting. I'm sure there will be surprises there. I anticipate my Irish and German roots will appear too revealing me as an international melting pot.

If the French lineage pops up, there will be a trip to Paris to explore further. Wish me luck!
